Bordeaux’s great Left Bank Wines to be served at dinner in the place of Versailles!
On the sidelines of Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris, the Commanderie is organizing one of its gala dinners. The Commanderie du Bontemps will be at the Château de Versailles for a memorable dinner that will bring together the members of the Commanderie du Bontemps and allow them to invite their clients and partners for an exceptional moment and exceptional wines.
An exceptional dinner in a legendary setting! The Gallery of Great Battles is the most important of the historic Galleries created by Louis-Philippe in the Palace of Versailles. It covers almost the entire first floor of the South Wing of the Palace and depicts nearly 15 centuries of French military successes, from Clovis to Napoleon, through 30 or so paintings. Since its opening, the gallery has remained intact and untouched, with all the works commissioned by the Citizen-King for its decoration at Château de Versailles.

The gala dinner at the Château de Versailles, which has become a meeting place for almost 700 international guests, was held on Tuesday 13 February 2024 in the Galerie des Batailles.
After a private stroll and a cocktail reception, the guests discovered the setting for their dinner in the Galerie des Batailles and listened to the speeches:
Catherine Pégard, President of the Château de Versailles, was delighted to be ending her term of office in the company of guests brought together by sharing and the art of living. For Emmanuel Cruse, this dinner augurs well for the 2023 vintage awaited by professionals and connoisseurs alike.

To celebrate the opening of the Vinexpo exhibition organized in Paris from 10th to 12th February 2020, Commanderie du Bontemps organised a majestic dinner with the great wines of Medoc, Graves, Sauternes and Barsac at the Palace of Versailles. The banquet havel gather nearly 650 guests and have be held in the magnificent Gallery of Great Battles. After many years, this emblematic event will thus be returning to Paris on 10th February 2020.
